Winter solstice - Start of a mystical lighting time
It's Christmas time
Nature has completely withdrawn into the interior of the earth since November and it has put its green dress down to the basic structure. Cold wind sweeps around the houses. Clouds bring rain and snow and quickly pull over us.
The birth of light is prepared by the cosmic forces. We feel this preparation in ourselves because it also takes place in ourselves as well as in nature.
During this time, the three Norns, the weavers of fate thread, weave the still invisible threads for us that lead us in the coming year. If you feel exactly, you can perceive a certain tension in the air: the rebirth of light is already very close!
Finally! Winter solstice - the sun is turning
On the winter solstice we celebrate the longest night and the shortest day. It is not so well known that the turn of the sun does not only take place on the day of the winter solstice, but that it takes three days for this "changeover" to the earth and the light and bright child was born. And this is how this change looks:
December 21st is the shortest day.
December 22 is the day of standstill and unity with everything that is.
December 23 stands for duality and fertility.
December 24th stands for the final turn.
And so all the time from the winter solstice to the Christian Christmas is the time of stop, silence, blessing and the time to clean us everything that surrounds us. To consecrate everything we want to let in our lives.
The hardest time was left to our ancestors
The hope of light is born - but now our ancestors were still the hardest and cold time. The winter solstice was celebrated extensively, usually for 3 days because you knew that privation came for which you needed confidence and hope.
Special natural phenomena during the rough nights or smoke nights
There is a special feature of the forest animals. The Brunft time takes place in August. The fertilized egg remains in the fallopian tube until Christmas. It is only at the winter solstice that the egg, which has been resting until then, begins to move, move on and develop.
It is not for nothing that deer, deer or moose are assigned to the "man from the forest", Santa Claus. They are a signal that joy and love are also awakened in humans and that they can go into the new year hopefully.
It was also scientifically proven that the general rest in the flora ends, approximately from the winter solstice. The seeds, which are still deep in the earth, begin to germinate slowly around New Year's Eve and the juices of the trees begin to rise again. Even algae begin to move again under frozen lakes.

Christmas was a parent festival in earlier times. Gifts were brought to the mothers. Likewise, all women who were involved in births, such as the midwives.
Many of the old in -depth rituals have been dishonored and distorted. But today many of us are ready to return to the origins to our roots. As long as we are incarnated, the earth is our home. Taking care and honoring them and finally connecting us again with her should be our endeavor.
Because the earth is also a soulful being that, like us, consists of light and vibrant energy. If we are firmly connected to her, we can, for our time here on Earth, weave our visions and keep shaping our lives by loosening old, wake up new dreams in us and go our own way.
We have protected the right to go successfully and happily our way. In the nights between the years we can reflect on ourselves again, realign ourselves and become co-creators, for the benefit of everyone.

The earth changes its face. She has done that many times. She too is embedded in this divine, loving universe. We should reflect and walk with her. Let us contribute to a loving and shining New Year by her and the triple goddess "Nature"!
