This tea tree oil is obtained by water vapor distillation of the young branches and leaves. The color varies from colorless to light yellow. The fragrance is fresh, medically, spicy.
This oil is grown biologically and therefore no fertilizers and chemicals are used during the cultivation and during the processing process after the harvest. The botanical name is Melaleuca Alternifolia.
The name was created when the Englishman, James Cook, used the plant as a replacement for tea. Tea made of tea tree is very refreshing and spicy.

Tea tree oil, also called tea stree oil, is germicidal and slightly disinfectant.
It should inhibit inflammation, act in itching and against mushrooms. Many ointments, creams or shampoos are made from tea tree oil.

Application notes
We offer our essential oils as a room fragrance due to current EU guidelines. The label must therefore take place under EU chemical law. All of our essential oils are 100 % natural. Therefore, please do not wonder about the given pictograms and warnings on the label. Unfortunately, these are required by law.
This does not mean that artificial ingredients have been added! Our products are all natural and come from exclusively nature -loving, ecological cultivation without any use of pesticides or the like.
Essential oils occur very diluted in the original plant and are therefore highly concentrated natural products. Small quantities are therefore sufficient for use. We recommend using the
essential oils in the aroma diffuser. The application quantity depends on the size of the room, the personal
Preferences, the fragrance used and the amount of water/temperature. In principle, all oils should not be heated above 38 degrees. Always start with a few drops and feel slowly, to your level of wellbeing (usually 2 - 8 drops are sufficient).
To ensure proper use, please inform yourself in detail, e.g. B. for trained aromatherapists or by corresponding specialist literature if you want to use the essential oils in other areas than the space fragrance.
Use only 100 % natural -purely essential oils for applications on the skin, dilute with a base oil and find out in advance whether the oil you have selected is suitable for this type of application.
Oils should not be used undiluted. For use on the skin, most essential oils should be diluted with a carrier oil.
Recommended u. In the specialist literature:
- when used as massage oil / in large use on the skin: max. 3% essential oil
- In terms of selective use: max. 10 % essential oil
A few drops are enough for most applications.
