Drawing the Circle — Protection and Structure in the Ritual on August 18, 2026
Drawing the Circle
Protection and Structure in Ritual
Before anything can begin, a safe space is needed.
Drawing the circle is one of the most fundamental ritual actions there is—and for me, the most important. Because only in a protected space can magical and energetic work succeed safely and with support. This evening, I will show you how it's done.
We will look at how a circle is drawn and reopened, which forces we can invite—from earth forces and local spirits, to the elements and gatekeepers, to the great powers with which we wish to work—and how we mindfully say goodbye at the end.
This structure is a reliable framework that you can apply to your own path, no matter which tradition you follow.
After the introduction with time for your questions, we will jointly draw a circle and experience the protected space from within. The evening concludes with a debriefing session.
Open to all—whether you are drawing a circle for the first time or want to deepen your practice, whether you work Nordic, differently, or are not yet committed.
