Product Safety Cocoa

Store in a cool, dark and dry place.

Natural, pure raw cacao is rich in theobromine and is not suitable for dogs and cats!

Even a small dose can be toxic for our beloved pets and must therefore be stored securely so that they cannot accidentally nibble on it.

The recommended daily dose for an adult is approx. 20 g.

Therefore, please always make sure that all supplies are stored securely packaged and out of reach of children and pets.

Please note! Possible side effects and contraindications of raw cacao

Sensitive individuals may react to the consumption of raw cacao with migraine attacks, temporary nausea, or increased pulse rate. Furthermore, raw cacao has a detoxifying effect, and it is important to drink enough water.

It is not recommended to consume it shortly before bedtime, as you might find it difficult to fall asleep.

According to some studies, test subjects experienced headaches, heart palpitations, and flickering vision at dosages above 40 g. Please slowly test the perfect dose for you.

If you are allergic to cocoa products, you should of course not consume raw cacao.

Like coffee, raw cacao should only be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with cardiovascular diseases and psychological disorders after consulting your doctor.

Interactions are possible with the simultaneous intake of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors), therefore consumption should also be clarified with a doctor beforehand.

We generally recommend that all individuals with chronic illnesses or allergies seek comprehensive advice beforehand and, if necessary, consult a medical or expert body.
