Grapefruit pure essential oil

This grapefruit is a steam distillation of fresh or dried grass. The color ranges from bright yellow to orange and has a fresh, lemon fragrance. This oil is grown biologically and therefore no fertilizers and chemicals are used during the cultivation and during the processing process after the harvest. The botanical name is Cymbopogon Flexuosus.

Land of origin: Guatemala

Can be used for: as a refreshing, uplifting fragrance. In the event of skin problems, in a cold and in stressful situations.

 

Contraindications:

Contains a lot of citral. If used for longer use, there is a risk of sensitization. Do not apply to irritated skin. Keep the lemite oils in the refrigerator.

Anwendungshinweise

Due to current EU guidelines, we offer our essential oils as room fragrances. The labeling must therefore comply with EU chemical law. All our essential oils are 100% natural. Please do not be surprised by the pictograms and warnings on the label. These are unfortunately legally required.

This does not mean that artificial ingredients have been added! All our products are pure and come exclusively from nature-friendly, organic cultivation without any use of pesticides or similar.

Essential oils are present in highly diluted form in the original plant and are therefore highly concentrated natural products. Small amounts are therefore sufficient for use. We recommend using essential oils in an aroma diffuser. The amount used depends on the room size, personal preferences, the fragrance used, and the amount/temperature of water. All oils should generally not be heated above 38 degrees. Always start with a few drops and slowly work your way up to your feel-good amount (2 - 8 drops are usually completely sufficient).

To ensure proper use, please inform yourself thoroughly, e.g., from trained aromatherapists or through relevant specialist literature, if you wish to use essential oils in areas other than room fragrancing.

For applications on the skin, use only 100% pure essential oils, diluted with a carrier oil, and inform yourself precisely beforehand whether the oil you have chosen is suitable for this type of application.

Oils should not be used undiluted. For skin application, most essential oils should be diluted with a carrier oil.

Specialist literature, among others, recommends:

– for use as massage oil / for large-area application on the skin: max. 3% essential oil
– For punctual application: max. 10% essential oil

For most applications, just a few drops are sufficient.

Allergens:

Naturally, some essential oils contain declarable ingredients such as pinenes, linalool or limonene. This does not mean that artificial ingredients have been added!

Essential oils are composed of a multitude of individual components. Substances such as limonene and linalool are naturally occurring components of essential oils; they are not added. However, they are among the 26 allergenic fragrance substances that must be declared and therefore must be listed separately because some people are allergic to individual ingredients. All of our products are free of chemicals and synthetic substances!
