Hot chocolate in midsummer? Not a must. Your ceremonial cacao also cuts a great figure ice-cold – as a ritual, as a moment of pleasure, as a small break on the balcony. We show you three ways how cacao and spices can keep their firm place in your everyday life even at high temperatures – and provide the matching soundtrack right away.
1. Iced Ceremonial Cacao
Prepare your cacao (for example HeartSpace or LoveBomb) creamyd as usual – but this time with only half to two-thirds of the amount of water or plant milk you normally use. Then pour the mixture over ice cubes and top up with the remaining amount of cold water or cold plant milk. A pinch of Stardust on top, and your summer ritual is ready.
2. Golden Milk on a Stick
Mix Golden Milk with plant milk, pour into ice molds, and freeze overnight. Creamy, golden yellow, spicy – a different kind of popsicle for hot afternoons.
3. Cacao Nice Cream with Glitter
Blend frozen bananas with a spoon of cacao, put in a bowl, and sprinkle with Cacao Glitter. Ready in five minutes, no ice cream maker needed.
The Soundtrack: Sonnenkreis
For all who want to welcome summer with an open heart, we have compiled our own Spotify playlist: Sonnenkreis – 15 songs for rituals full of joy and dance. With sounds from Masego, Rhye, Bonobo, and Khruangbin, a warm mix of chill electronics and danceable grooves emerges – perfect for your next outdoor ceremony, a long summer bath, or simply for dreaming on the terrace.
Which ritual will you try first? Feel free to show us your own creations.
Sincerely,
the Ritualmanufaktur team
